Some heartless hooligan threatened and clocked workers at a Coney Island deli on Christmas Day, cops mentioned.

The Scrooge strode into the Mermaid Avenue mart at West 32nd Street round four:20 pm on Dec. 25., flashed a knife, and demanded the employee behind the counter hand over money, police mentioned.

The brute then repeatedly punched a second worker, earlier than fleeing on foot with none inexperienced, based on officers, who mentioned paramedics introduced the second sufferer to a close-by hospital for therapy to a laceration on his hand.

Officers described the malefactor as in his 20s and roughly 5-feet-10-inches tall, and mentioned he was final seen carrying a white hoodie, darkish pants, and darkish sneakers.
