WHY I LOVE BANGALORE DAY 821 | TRAVEL VLOG IV

Why I love Bangalore. I’ve been living in Bangalore for a bit now and I absolutely love the city. Today we’re off to the famous Vidyarthi Bhavan restaurant in Bangalore and I’m filming the first food video. That video will be up tomorrow but today I’m explaining why I love Bangalore.

Travel Vlog Iv is a travel vlog channel. I’m Ivana, nice to meet you! I travel and make daily travel vlogs so you can travel with me. Subscribe if you like to travel!

When I’m not traveling you can hang out with me in my home town Amsterdam. So if you always wanted to travel in Amsterdam this is the place to be to get an insight in the local life without actually having to travel. Enjoy!

FAQ’s:

Q Where are you from?
A I am born in former Yugoslavia. Mom is Serbian, Dad is Bosnian. During the ’90’s war we came to the Netherlands and I got Dutch nationality. Have been living in Amsterdam for over 5 years.

Q How can you afford to travel so much?
A I saved for 3 years while working full time and now travel vlogging is my job. I work together with tourism agencies but also do some freelance work on the side. You can watch this video: https://youtu.be/vxfjQO_F1vE and this one: https://youtu.be/dB7plg139wQ to learn more about my story.

Q What camera do you film with and what editing software do you use?
A Canon G7X Mark II and Final Cut Pro X

Q (Why) Are you vegetarian?
A I’m vegetarian but not strict. I don’t eat any meat, fish, cooked/boiled or fried eggs. I gradually became a vegetarian over the course of 15 years because I disliked the taste of meat more and more. After doing a yoga teacher training in 2015 I also quit fish and the eggs. No matter my food preferences I have no issues with other people not being vegetarian. I don’t judge others and kind of expect the same favor from others concerning my own food preferences. It makes for a more friendly world 🙂

Q Why do you usually travel alone?
A Because my friends have jobs with limited holidays, kids and partners. Also I really like exploring on my own.

Bangalore is facing severe infrastructure problems.
Water supply is running out. And there may be no ground water after 2025. Direct consequences of development . When the last tree is cut, man will realize he can''t eat money.. Bangalore was known as the garden city with lush green trees and water bodies in all areas. The damage done over the years particularly by the government and Multinational IT firm's encroachments and expansions on lakes, cutting down of trees, obsession with building steel bridges, encroachment of storm water drains spelt disaster. Its scary that the crisis is so horrible and still its business as usual.. I think that as an influential blogger who is so insanely in love with Bangalore needs to do a little to spread the awarenesses on this critical issue .. I think you are definitely exposed to these stark realities and you have some good ideas on water conservation . I hope you won't view my comment in negative light because one of the greatest personality wrote the great quote …. There are only three things women need in life: food, water, and compliments.
